祝四位媽媽母親節快樂!

5月14日別忘了向辛苦的母親們表達你的心意.
我們要向雅君,又仙,宜莊,及芝謚四位可愛的媽媽說聲謝謝,有了小孩才知媽媽的辛勞.由於她們的付出,爸爸們得以一覺到天亮.
此外也要特別感謝這些阿姨們適時的協助,珮怡,佩璇,還有小茜.有這些愛小孩的阿姨疼愛,這幾個小朋友是很幸福的.

Holland, Michigan

上週六不少人結伴到Michigan的Holland小鎮一遊.當地此時正值鬱金香盛開.
夏天到了!

王薏茜王薏茜,許多人都叫她小茜.也可以叫她崔西王或Tracy　Wang.
小茜去年才從陽光之州的佛羅里達搬到芝加哥來闖天下.感謝神代領,使她找到工作,找到室友,也找到信仰的開始.小茜的公司就在離ETC不遠的有點小遠距離,所以她目前與好室友Perry同住在Evanston.
如果你跟小茜熟悉的話,你會發現她是一個很熱心的人,來到ETC後參與了Worship Team控制投影片與育嬰室照顧小孩的服事.
願我們一同與小茜在信仰的路上共同成長.

Art @ IIT: Ben F. Laposky

The late Ben Laposky is among the pioneers in electronic art, which preceded the development of computer graphics. This exhibit recreates his first exhibition held in 1953. It includes over 100 black & white and color images, and is thefirst showing of his collected works and historical images from his archives in over 35 years.

”再開一下就到了!"
一般人都有一種錯誤的觀念, 以為阿浪家很遠? 其實若是從ETC到他們家只須要經過4個森林保護區, 短短一個小時的車程就可以從都市到達玉米田的Bartlett. 省油一點的車子只須中途在加油站加一次油順便充氣換機油, 買個熱狗便可上路.
阿浪俗稱劉如麟, 與宜莊1999年在明尼蘇達唸書,2001到芝加哥工作後搬到香柏, 自搬到此地後,便成為大家的好朋友. 是出門旅遊郊遊烤肉運動打球逛街採購不可少的夥伴.
附上阿浪全家生活照, 兩張圖中的小孩是同一個Gina.

I-290 人事物 - 史考特

談到小組, 就要提到組員. 現在可能還有不少人在教會隔桌用餐卻彼此不曾交談過. 認識彼此, 讓我們從這裡開始.

史考特 邱, Scott Chiu, 你可以叫他邱信平, 是IIT 機械所2005年秋季班學生, 目前住在Bridgeport區. 信平待人親切, 穿著出眾, 是個很容易相處的人. 最近新買了一台不全新的Camry, 以車代步外也接送許多他IIT的同學和室友來ETC禮拜. 打羽毛球是他的主要運動, 固定每個星期五下午在IIT體育館打球. 許多人可能還不知道信平還擅長多樣樂器, 音樂素養極高的他, 曾服役於空軍總部軍樂隊. 大家應該都知道空總樂隊聲譽極佳, 最近聲勢直逼聯勤總部軍樂隊. 提外話不多說.

下次在教會遇到信平, 別忘了打聲招呼吧!

各位好!
ETC 現在組織了許多關懷小組, 依照居住地區劃分, 我們同屬於 ETC Near West Downtown 關懷網.
小弟有幸擔起現階段此小組連繫與關懷的工作, 希望藉著彼此的關懷分享使我們更認識每個人, 藉著代禱使我們得著神賜的力量, 藉著Highway 290 開到彼此的家, 藉著I-290ETC連結我們的心.
